I’d read a lot of self-help books and listened to podcasts, but I was only ever taking half-measures and never really changing how I showed up. Coaching with Corey helped me shift my mindset, get honest about where I actually was, and start focusing on the man I want to be 20–30 years from now. The journaling work was hard for me, but Corey reminded me that if it feels hard, I’m probably doing the right work — and that pushed me to actually show up for myself and my family. Showing up to Corey’s men’s group in has become one of the most important parts of my week. It’s one of the few spaces where I can be honest about what’s really going on without feeling judged. Sitting with other men, hearing their stories, and realizing I’m not the only one wrestling with this stuff has been huge. Corey does a great job creating structure and safety, but he also lets the group be real — there’s room for vulnerability, different perspectives, and even disagreement, without it turning into drama. Over time, the simple act of showing up each week, checking in, and speaking out loud what I’m carrying has helped me feel less alone, more grounded, and more intentional about how I’m living my life.
